Irish Rail is recruiting train drivers as part of its major 2023 Driver Campaign. The national transport firm is offering wages of up to €63,000 for the job.

- Greater Dublin Area (Includes Connolly, Heuston, and DART locations, Fairview and Bray)
- Athlone
- Cork
- Galway
- Limerick
- Waterford
- Westport
Candidates must meet European Train Driver Licensing requirements with a minimum of 9 years of full-time education and must be over the age of 20. Additionally, Irish Rail is looking for applicants with excellent communication skills, and people who can remain calm in an emergency.
If successful, candidates will undergo a train driver training programme. The online applicant system will close when the required applicant number has been reached – early applications are recommended to avoid disappointment.
