Garda jobs: Deadline extended for clerical officers recruitment campaign

Candidates now have until Wednesday September 27 to submit an application for the highly sought after roles

A nationwide campaign seeking clerical officers for An Garda Siochana has been extended.

The recruitment drive seeks people across various sectors, including HR, finance, legal and medical services. Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to apply and have some prior work experience.

The deadline was initially set for Wednesday September 20. However, applicants were granted a further week to send in applications for the 400 roles available nationwide.

An Garda Siochana confirmed on social media that the new deadline falls on Wednesday September 27 at 3pm. Applications must be made online as physical CVs will not be accepted.

The jobs on offer range from temporary contracts to permanent positions. Applications forms are available through the Garda website.
