Gardai are appealing for video footage or images of scenes from the riots in Dublin last Thursday.

An incident room has been established at Store Street Garda Station and a Senior Investigating Officer has been appointed as officers continue their criminal investigation into the violent unrest that occurred last week. Gardai are still collating and harvesting CCTV and social media images from the events.

A Garda spokesman added: "An Garda Siochana wishes to acknowledge the significant volume of support received from the public to date including calls to Store Street Garda Station, the Garda Confidential Phone Number and receipt of images and videos from members of the Public."

The spokesman continued: "The investigation team are requesting that any person who was present in Dublin City Centre on Thursday, November 23 and may have video footage or images, in any format, to contact Gardaí at Store Street Garda Station via email at store.street.public@garda.ie, with their contact details only."

The public are not requested to submit any footage at this time. Members of the investigation team will make contact with them to arrange for the appropriate collection of any video footage.

Gardai are also still looking for information on the events on Thursday evening, as well as information on people organising or involved in Thursday’s events. The Garda investigation team can also be contacted at Store Street Garda station at 01 666 8000, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
