Autumn is well and truly here which means there's not too long left until the spookiest day of the year.

As Halloween approaches, people will be on the lookout for the biggest and best pumpkins they can find to carve. While there are plenty of pumpkins available for sale in supermarkets, there's something magical about picking a fresh one from a patch.

Luckily for Dubliners, a scenic forest at the foot of the Dublin Mountains has been named one of the best pumpkin patches in Ireland. Luggwoods was crowned the second-best place for pumpkin picking this Halloween with a whooping 34,300 searches from September to October, as well as 24,900 followers on social media and a Google rating of 4.3.
