The Luas Christmas and New Year timetable has been confirmed, with a welcome return of weekend late night trams from December 15.

Night Luas trams will run until the early hours of the morning on the Red and Green Lines on Friday 15 December, Saturday 16 December, Friday 22 December, and Saturday 23 December with an 8pm finish on Christmas Eve. Night Luas will also run on Sunday 31 December.

Luas operators Transdev confirmed that as usual there will be no trams running on Christmas day. Lines will reopen at 9am on St Stephen's Day morning.

There's great news for office workers who may need a lift late at night after their office Christmas party, with late night journeys commencing on December 15. Night Luas trams will run in both directions, collecting passengers at all stops on the Green Line and Red Line.

But the last Night Luas trams will only run Westbound from The Point Luas Stop on the Red Line and Southbound from Broombridge on the Green Line. Here's the full list of Night Luas services:
