One of Bray's best loved pubs is without a doubt The Harbour Bar - and it was also declared the best overall bar in the world by The Lonely Planet back in 2010.

Originally a terrace of fisherman’s houses, the Bray pub was established in 1872. Each of its many rooms have something different going on - whether it's the bar area, The Snug (ideal for a quiet chat over a pint), or The Live Lounge to see the best new emerging acts and returning national and international favourites.

There's also the Good Room which has a roaring fire and board games, the shabby chick space upstairs and the beer garden which is heated during the winter.

The food menu is on the affordable side, with mostly seafood-themed pub grub like fish and chips, calamari and prawns, but there's also loaded chips and toasties. Prices are in the €5.50 - €16 range.

There's a range of drinks on offer as well, including craft draught, draught, bottled cider, and the a wide selection of the stronger stuff. There's also non-alcoholic drinks available.

The pub is also pet friendly, family friendly and group and event friendly.

So whether you want to enjoy a quiet pint with your friends and your dog, have some fish and chips with your family and enjoy the cozy vibes, or have a larger event, The Harbour Bar might be the place for you.
