These are hard times for the hospitality industry, with pubs and restaurants apparently closed until August at the very earliest. However, some of the more enterprising businesses are finding ways to keep going, by taking online or phone orders to keep thirsty customers happy.

The Back Page, Phibsborough

The Bodytonic bar on Phibsborough Road is going all-out with a full takeaway menu of pizza and drinks, including cocktails. They're also doing a €125 'Pub In A Box' that includes drinks, glasses, pizza, snacks, a board game, t-shirts and even a playlist to soundtrack your session. More details.

Craft beer giant Brewdog opened their Dublin bar in mid-December so the crisis has been particularly badly timed for them. In the meantime, they are taking orders for delivery from their extensive range of cans. More details.

The Cabra pub have had plenty of publicity after they became the first pub in the country to deliver pints to thirsty customers. All draught beers are available - phone 018384181 to place your order. More details.
